A Christian Co-op that started out of a need six years ago, in 2003, for more interaction with other home schooled children. Our base and focus has been science over the years, but has since incorporated other subjects as well. Through our Co-op, we offer support and accountability for parents who desire to be involved, do experiments, using hands on activities as a group, while doing the primary teaching at home.As our Co-op has proven itself valuable and satisfactory these past six years, we recognized in 2008 that we needed to expand the Co-op into other academic areas as our children have since grown. Our need was met in 2008 and proved successful! We stretched ourselves and pulled in capable and well educated teachers to help instruct our students of either junior high and/or lower high school level and to work alongside our Co-op. At the same time, we have offered additional courses to focus on other needs of the family. Not only will did these new classes enrich our children's academic studies, but also answered the need to meet academic requirements. Our goal for 2009 will be the same and will continue on course! Overall, our desire is to have a fun interactive environment where our children can learn among their peers, meet academic needs of the family, while at the same time, share in the support of our homeschool efforts.
